Spring Raindrops

Well, things have been kind of quiet around here this week. We have just worked around the house.

Let's see last Saturday night, we attended a neighbor's daughter's wedding. The wedding was simple but elegant wedding. It was a little different from the traditional one, but was very nice. They got married in a beautiful old church over in Kansas City and then had the reception back out North of the River (where we live). One thing that was different was at the end of the ceremony they played a Jimmy Buffett song - can't remember the name of it (something about the Caribbean) and all the groomsmen put on their sunglasses before they came back down the aisle. The couple are honeymooning in the Caribbean, so I guess it was to get them in the mood.

We have had some more rain but at least no big storms. The poor people who got hit last week with the tornadoes are still cleaning up. Jack and I drove through a couple of the areas and you just can't believe all the damage. We are so thankful that we were safe.

Last night we went to our oldest grandson's (Zack) baseball game. It was a little cool and windy but we enjoyed it anyway. It reminds us of all the days and nights we spend at the baseball fields with our sons. His team won both games!! Good for them.

This morning it is cloudy and cool. Had some showers through the night. They are forecasting us to be this way for the next four days. Oh where is the sunshine??

Some of the sunshine is in Florida and I think we left the rest of it in Arizona.

Yes, it's been sunny in OK for two days and windy today.
Love those baseball games of the kids. What fun.
